Thank You for a Meaningful Annual Convening
Thank you to everyone who joined us for PA CHEP’s 2026 Annual Convening at Bucknell University. The convening brought together colleagues from across Pennsylvania to share models, surface challenges, and strengthen relationships across higher education in prison, reentry, policy, and corrections.
We’re especially grateful to Bucknell University for hosting, to Luis “Suave” Gonzalez for his powerful keynote address, and to the many panelists, facilitators, and participants who contributed their time, insight, and experience.
The conversations that took place around access, equity, technology, reentry pathways, and collaboration will directly inform PA CHEP’s work in the months ahead. We’re energized by the ideas shared and look forward to translating them into concrete action across committees, partnerships, and programs statewide.
